Songs of the Dead

A serial killer stalks the streets of Spokane, acting out a misogynist script. Across town, a writer named Derrick has spent his life tracking the reason, be they political, psychological or spiritual for the sadism of the modern world. Through the nights, Nika, a trafficked woman tries to survive the violence of prostitution. Their lives are about to collide. Derrick is plagued by visions — he knows that Nika is the serial killer's next victim — he must learn to negotiate a world of spirits and demons before it's too late.
