A Cool Killing

When consultant Dr Geoffrey Swainson goes missing at the local hospital it is merely inconvenient; but when he is discovered dead in the hospital mortuary Detective-Inspector Alec Stainton is pitchforked into a murder inquiry which calls for all his patience and tenacity.

The trouble is, too many people are glad Swainson is dead, and as more of his past comes to light it seems to Alec the doctor's influence has tainted the life of everyone he meets... And before the investigation is over even Alec's life is not exempt.
