With the help of her housemates, high schooler Meeko begins to ajust to the life in her uncle´s boarding house. Even the initially frightening Matsunaga-san helps her out- and soon enought, between one kind act and another, Meeko finds herself falling for him. Knowing that Matsunaga-san doesn´t see her that way, Meeko tries to keep her one-sided, budding feelings in check. But balancing first loves and final exams is a lot to handle, and when her grades begin to suffe, Meeko gets a sudden visit from her mother- who´s not so sure if Meeko´s responsible enough to be living on her won after all!c
